About Us

Hampton Park Physio was established in 1990 and have remained a leading and respected provider of physiotherapy services across South East Melbourne.

Our committed team provides a professional and holistic approach to assessment, diagnosis and treatment.

We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions from sports injuries, neck and back pain, headaches, tendon strains, women’s health conditions.

We also provide individualised exercise programs to assist in rehabilitation following serious injury or surgery, and balance retraining.

We treat patients ranging from young to old, and from the very active person with an acute injury to those with a sedentary working environment or lifestyle.

Murray Hutchison

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Murray graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 1984 and then completed post graduate studies in 1988 to become an Australian Physiotherapy Association Titled Musculo-skeletal Physiotherapist. Murray established Hampton Park Physio in 1990 and has gained extensive experience treating a wide variety of musculo-skeletal conditions. In addition Murray has taught students on the undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy programs at La Trobe University, lecturing on the topic of referred pain from the neck and back including headaches, facial pain and sciatica. Murray continues to have a great interest in the treatment of spinal conditions and sports injuries. His philosophy is to do a thorough assessment of the injury with the goal of establishing an accurate diagnosis enabling treatment to be directed at the specific cause of the problem.

Rani Marina

Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates

Rani graduated from La Trobe University and holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Physiotherapy Practice. Rani enjoys treating a vast array of musculoskeletal conditions ranging from acute, sporting and work related injuries to the management of chronic conditions. Rani’s main interest is in the area of Women’s health Physiotherapy such as pre and postnatal musculoskeletal conditions. Rani has also completed courses in Pilates and teaches Clinical Pilates classes at the clinic. In addition Rani supervises our hydrotherapy classes which are conducted on a weekly basis by appointment.
