Pilates is a form of exercise that aims to improve flexibility, ‘core’ strength and improving our body awareness and posture. Movements in Pilates exercises are low impact and gentle on your body. It concentrates on the continued flow of movements, which will promote good posture, awareness of breathing and strengthening of the ‘core’ abdominal muscles.
The Pilates program at Hampton Park Physio is individually designed and implemented by our qualified physiotherapist who has undertaken additional clinical Pilates training.
Benefit of Clinical Pilates:
Pilates Assessment
Prior to attending Pilates class a qualified physiotherapist will assess you to establish your goals and any musculoskeletal issues that need to be specifically addressed. This ensures that the prescribed exercises are suitable for you and will help you achieve your aim.

To ensure that everyone receives adequate supervision and feedback, there is a maximum of three participates in your class. Each person in the class will perform their individually tailored exercise program.
